Hello, I'm Chelsea a Northern California photographer based in Auburn ca specializing in motherhood and family lifestyle portraits that tell a story, but not just any story, YOUR STORY!

I completely fell in love with all things motherhood, After becoming a mama myself and looking at our son for the first time. My whole world changed in the most positive way. The importance of documenting all these precious childhood milestones that seem to go by way to fast is so important to me and if you're reading these words right now they are just as equally important to you. I find the beauty behind such a magical bond truly difficult to put into words but being a photographer allows me to preserve these stages in my clients lives through imagery. This is my calling and what I enjoy doing. That and of course being the best mama I can be to my 2 year old son and unborn little one currently baking in my tummy. I feel blessed that I was able to find a career that allows me to be present in my families lives as well as being present in yours. Now i know family / motherhood sessions can feel over whelming at times and kids can be unpredictable but I think the unpredictability is what really showcases your story and lives, I say let the kids be kids, sit back and watch the magic unravel. I approach my sessions with directed natural prompts & poses, as well as capturing the in-between moments often missed or that may normally go unnoticed. I'm extremely patient during my sessions & pretty good at keeping things moving smoothly an redirecting when needed. I don't go into our session with a set plan, I feel the energy and personalities out first then go from there, making for an easy flowing and overall great experience for all.
